Pool & Wellness membership

§ 1. Membership

Membership at Hotel Riviera is personal. You have free access to the gym and spa facility every day of the week. To gain access to the Pool & Wellness area, you must always book a time during our available time slots through our website or by contacting us on email/phone.

The minimum age to sign a membership agreement is 18 years.

§ 2. Payment

By signing in you accept that payments will happen in the agreed time and manner.
All fees are monthly and are paid in the beginning of the month. Direct debit withdrawals take place according to the agreed date. The direct debit agreement is valid for 3 or 12 months.

§ 3. Contract period and termination

All agreements terminate automatically if not renewed after the expiration date. Any price increases will then be adjusted.

§ 4. Freezing and transfer of membership agreements

Freezing membership only applies to 12 month memberships. You can only freeze the membership for a maximum of 2 months and only 1 time, this is done with a written request. Longer freezing of membership is only valid in case of long-term sick leave, moving abroad or during pregnancy. Medical certificate is required. After freezing, the membership will be extended by the equivalent.

Transfer of membership is not permitted.

§ 5. Price changes

The monthly agreement is protected against all kinds of increases during the commitment period (max. 12 months). After that, a price increase may occur.

§ 6. State of health

Members and other guests are themselves responsible for ensuring that their state of health is such that they can participate in Hotel Riviera activities without risk.

§ 7. Rules of well-being and training regulations

Members are always expected to behave in a way that does not disturb other guests or staff. The premises are intended for exercise-related activities as well as peace and quiet in our department. It is the member's responsibility to follow the comfort rules and rules for the use of equipment. Suspension may occur if immediate correction does not take place. Members may not conduct competing activities or their own activities on our premises. This leads to suspension and possibly legal penalties.

§ 8. Doping

Hotel Riviera has zero tolerance regarding the use of drugs classified as doping. Hotel Riviera therefore distances itself from doping and allows unannounced doping controls. In case of use of doping, the member may be suspended with immediate effect, if immediate correction is not made.

§ 9. Practical changes

Hotel Riviera reserves the right to make minor changes regarding opening hours, renewal of equipment, closing certain parts of the gym/changing rooms/ pool etc. during renovation - repair, maintenance and service work. Changes will be notified to the member in good time in advance.
